| Server will be down for a couple of hours this evening. Must have been something urgent as I got an email about 11:00AM....but I was at work until now.
"We will be performing maintenance on the PDU (power distribution unit) of which your server resides."
Window has been set at 11:30PM-2:00AM EST.
Since I was not home to turn the site off and the server was shut down while the site was under load I will want to perform a couple of maintenace routines on the database to help prevent possible corruption. This will take at least an hour after the server comes back up. Sorry about the downtime. |
